Sometimes its embarrassing when people take your phone and start exploring gallary images as well as whatsapp images,hence i came up with the easiest method to hide a pictures and videos from your gallary that to without need of any third party application which prompts for password each time you want to unlock gallary.
here we will explore method to hide whatsapp images same can be applied to other resources (Media resources) including camera pictures ,videos.
remember after using this method your videos and images won't appear in gallary,though you can explore it via any file manager/explorer.
So lets start without being late.
Pre-requirements:
- Any File Manager/Explorer

Steps to hide whatsapp images and videos from gallary.
- Download and Install ES File Manager from above and open it,go to menu and select tools option.
- Now inside tools,tick mark show hidden files option.
- Now locate whatsapp either in Sdcard or internal memory.this varies over devices.
- note: If you want to hide camera picture then look out for DCIM > Camera folder.
- Now inside whatsapp folder create a new file and name it ".nomedia" without quotation mark.
- That's it you are done!!! look inside your gallary ur whatsapp images are now gone!!! you can access those images via file manager in future if you want.
